The career began in the manufacturing sector after relocating to Kansas City in 2000, with an initial focus on Production, Warehouse & Logistics for a label dispenser manufacturer. Within a year, the role advanced to Purchasing Manager, fostering proficiency in procurement strategies, vendor management, and cost control until the company was sold and relocated out of state.
The next 19 years were dedicated to serving as the Purchasing Manager and Inbound Logistics Manager for a food manufacturer specializing in BBQ Sauce, Hot Sauce, and Salsa. During this time, a pivotal role was played in streamlining supply chain processes, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing inventory systems to support seamless production and distribution.
Currently, as the Freight Sales Manager at Talk Freight, extensive expertise in logistics and purchasing is leveraged to establish strategic partnerships, develop innovative freight solutions, and deliver exceptional value to clients, ensuring their shipping and logistics needs are met with precision and efficiency.
